conclusion based on three facts
Fact: Not all marc jacobs flats are designed to look like mice.
Fact: These two shoes in particular:
…were not designed to look like mice. They are as blamelessly earless, eyeless and tailless as footwear can be expected to be.
Fact: To me, they still look like mice. Lots.
Conclusion: Mouse-approximation is an underestimated and transitive property of footwear. Open that door as a designer and there’s no telling how long it’ll be before people gaze footward and see anything else.
