…not having a 1950s summer dress with tiny navy blue firecrackers
has finally been attended to.
Don’t tell me they’re candles. They’re not candles. That’s blue, swiss-dotted TNT, which is, as it turns out, EXACTLY what it takes to take a sweet, square-edged peter pan collar down a much needed peg or two.
Just now added to the list of things to bemoan: my lack of cardigan with velvet appliqued matchbooks. I just don’t know if Pat Baldwin dabbled in incendiaries, you know?
