What I think you should wear this Halloween…
…is THIS dress, from the 40s. I love how blamelessly wholesome this dress is otherwise: long-sleeved, way past the knees, sensibly neutral. A bit of a snore without the three ENORMOUS sparkly spider webs across the front.
I see no evidence of a tiny, bejeweled spider lurking in some corner, watching the party with his big rhinestone eyes….
But the fact that he could be there is enough for me.
